Service
I have been involved in various service projects. Service is very near and dear to my heart, and I am always fulfilled
when I am able to give to the community. Whether it's by planning a project, spontaneously volunteering, or serving with a
group of friends, it is always a great and rewarding experience. Here are a few examples of my service experience.
Big Ol' Project (2022 & 2023)
With an organization, (Aggies Selflessly Serving in Shaping Tomorrow) I served the community. In 2022, My peers and I attended weekly meetings in order to plan the event with a budget of $1000. We created care
packages for the homeless, hosted a field day event for Aggies with disabilities, and volunteered at a maternity home. In 2023, I attend the
service event organized by the freshmen, where we volunteered at a homeless shelter.
Keep Brazos Beautiful: I volunteered to clean up the side of the highway by picking up trash. Visit their site here.
YMCA Youth Coach: I worked as a coach at the Weekley YMCA during the summer youth camps as a volunteer.
Big Event I have participated in the Big Event at TAMU for two years - cleaned, organized, and helped households.
